Regarding the poor, St. Paul remind us to follow what our Lord Jesus said, “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35).

We are grateful for your charitable donation to this ministry of giving hope to orphans and abandoned children in South Sudan. We pray that your support will make a difference in the lives of these disadvantaged children who have potential but long to have someone who will allow them to realize their dream.

To our altruistic individuals, there are two ways to get involve; first, you can make your charitable donation to the United Sudanese Lutheran Church. The church will use your monetary donation with other philanthropists to support these orphans. The second way is to sponsor a child. Upon sponsorship, you will be given the child’s information, such as name, country where he/she attends school, academic level, and his/her photo.

All of our sponsored orphans are placed in boarding schools in Uganda and Kenya. Currently, the tuition and fees for each sponsored child in Primary (Middle) School is $300.00 per trimester, which totals $900.00 per year.

If you would like to sponsor a child, or have questions regarding sponsorship, please contact our Orphans’ Scholarship Director, Monica Stillwell at (502) 693-1580 or email her at USLC.OrphanScholarshipDirector@twc.com.

Please send your tax deductible, charitable donation to the United Sudanese Lutheran Church at 4205 Gardiner View Avenue, Louisville, KY 40213.

Thank you so much for remembering these children in their great time of needs. “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you”(Luke 6:38).
